The University of Edinburgh is looking for a Study Co-ordinator of the internationally-renowned Lothian Birth Cohort 1936 (LBC1936). The successful applicant will have a PhD in psychology or a related biological or social science, and will be keen to obtain valuable project management experience as well as the opportunity to analyse data and write scientific papers. Good quantitative analysis skills are essential. The appointee will be line-managed by LBC1936 Study Director Professor Ian Deary, will co-ordinate the LBC1936 testing team, and will liaise with other investigators and the many collaborating groups and individuals who are involved in the testing of the LBC1936 participants and analyses of their data. This post is funded by Age UK, it is a full-time post available immediately and is tenable in the first instance until to 31 March 2016.
